Tulp Burgundy, Leliebloemig

This group of lily-flowering tulips were originally grouped with the Cottage tulips but were given their own classification in 1958.

They typically reach a height of 45-60cm and flower in May. These long, curvaceous flowers have pointed petals and bear the closest resemblance to the original Turkish tulips.
