Ilex crenata Bonsai

The Ilex renata is a close relative of the holly. It differs in somewhat smaller leaves and in height. In favorable locations the shrub can reach 3 m and even grow treelike. The gray-green grain of the shoots and the long leathery dark green leaves give a lovely picture. Plants of this size, shape and age are international rarities and one-of-a-kind.
