Citrus sinensis - Orange tree

Place of origin: Probably the wild species that were first cultivated were found in the mountain regions of todays South Chinese provinces Yunnan and Sichuan. In spite of extensive research not a single location could be found where they exist in the wild.

Today's species are diverse. Mostly they can be distinguished by form or color of the fruits or leaves. We carry species that have proven to develop ripe fruits. All are grafted and have thick trunks, up to 4 m high. They may reach a height of over 8 m.
