Products description
Beaucarnea recurvata belongs to the family of the Agavaceae. It is a succulent. Its unusual look and the simple cultivation have made it very popular. In his American habitat (Texas/Mexico) it reaches heights of several meters and has to endure burning sun as well as great heat and long periods of drought. To these conditions Beaucarnea is well adapted. The massive trunk stores sufficient water to survive even extended periods of drought, keeping evaporation to a minimum.
